Custom-built Home is Eclectic and Welcoming
Our home was designed and built by artist/collector Scott Perrin, known as The Dusty Desert Drifter. Inspired by the Southern California hills and deserts, he built The Desert Shack in 2001 embracing his passion for the wild surroundings and pioneering life.
From hand-built doors and iron artifacts to stamped concrete flooring and soaring ceilings with skylights, we’ve worked hard to acknowledge and respect his work while updating and introducing modern conveniences and creature comforts.
We know you will love and respect the house and property as much as we do.
Many of our guests plan to spend their time in Palm Springs but end up never leaving the house!
